Radical SR4 Clubsport

Introduction

Launched in 2004, the Radical SR4 Clubsport is the UK's most successful multi-pupose sports racing car, trackday car and extreme road car.

The ground-breaking styleof the SR4 was inspried by the Le Mans-winning Bentley, designed by Peter Elleray, who is also responsible for overseeing Radical's SR9 LMP2 Le mans Prototype.

"User-friendly in the extreme, it was almost flattering in the way the SR4 allowed you to get on with the job of driving." - Circuit Driver The 2007 specifcation SR4 is available with a new front diffuser and bi-plane wing which endows the car with world-class handling characteristics. The combination of the new aerodynamic package and Radical's unique 'Nik' suspension system makes the SR4 not only extremely fast, but easy and forgiving to drive.

Powered by a range of high-power, Powertec four-cylinder superbike engines, the Sr4 drives through a 6-speed sequential gearbox and unique chain-driven, reversing limited-slip differential.

For road use, the SR4's suspension can be raised to miss even the most aggressive speed hump. A type-approval kit provides lighting, hand brake, front luggage compartment, catalytic converter and road tyres. In road trim, the SR4 gives superbike performance, without the risk.

Track users will be reassured by the SR4's integral safety structure and high-strength front foot protection, which exceeds the requirements laid down in the latest UK and US regulations.
