SR3 RS
The SR3 RS is Radical’s most popular sports car, with over 400 sold since its launch in 2002. Never a company to rest on its laurels, Radical has undertaken a major re-vamp of the SR3, which includes a complete re-style, major safety upgrades and more powerful Powertec engines. Based on Radical’s SR9 Le Mans Prototype aero package, the SR3’s new high nose bodywork increases downforce, reduces drag and improves cooling for hot climates.
Driver and passenger safety is Radical’s primary concern, the SR3 RS two-seater chassis incorporates a new safety cell and crash structures which fully comply with all FIA Production Sportscar Safety Tests. Couple these changes with a new high-tech dashboard, sophisticated engine management system, improved paddle shift option and low-friction dampers – the SR3 just keeps getting better.
The RS designation stands for 'Rockingham Speedway' which is the nearest circuit to Radical's Peterborough factory and the circuit at which the RS version of the SR3 won its first race, in the hands of Radical co-founder, Phil Abbott.
