Shaking down an all-new car in front of the world's media is far from ideal, but so far, so good! The SR9 does all the important things well.

After his second session in the car, Martin Short was extremely bouyant. "Out of the box, the SR9 handles better than the Dallara ever did on it's best day, and the down-force is amazing. The engine cools well, and the car is really comfortable, with no buffeting. Once we have completed set-up work, this car is undoubtably going to be the car to beat in P2!"

An early electrical glitch in the semi-automatic shifter was sorted with some help from Creation.

The SR9 is running again today (Monday) when hopefully, the Rollcentre team intends to let Rob Barff and Joao Barbosa take over the driving duties.
