Embassy Racing opt for switch to Radical SR9
The Embassy Racing team has made a switch of chassis, ahead of the Le Mans Series opener at Monza this Sunday (15th April).

Embassy has decided to shelve it's Pilbeam-Judd MP93, which broke its suspension on its first two test outings, and buy a similarly-powered Radical SR9 from Rollcentre Racing. The team expects that drivers Warren Hughes and Neil Cunningham will use the Radical for the entirety of its 2007 LMP2-class programme.

Team owner, Jonathan France said, "It was not feasible to get the Pilbeam reliable for Monza or even Valencia(for round two in May) and this was the most expedient route of getting out there.

We know we are going to Monza with a proven, competitive package
."

Tim Greaves, Team Bruichladdich Radical owner says, "We are very pleased to have another SR9, run by a professional team, on the LMS grid. We are also hopeful to have one or two more teams on the grid by the end of the year.

We are currently building a fourth chassis, which will be available in time for round two in Valencia in May
."
