SR5 Shows it's pace at Spa

SR5 at SpaDespite the V de V series scrutineer insisting that the works SR5 team remove it's rear diffuser which necessitated a number of frenetic set up changes, the Wasp-liveried SR5 driven by Ross Kaiser and Sam Hancock qualified on the front row of the grid, for the 6 hour enduro at Spa Francorchamps this weekend.

The teams luck was also out in the race with certain victory snatched from it by a recurring alternator problem. Team Chief Slim Borgudd was upbeat, "We proved what we came to prove, that the SR5 is the car to beat in this extremely popular series. We will hopefully sort out the rear diffuser situation with the officials, fix the niggles and be back. A number of teams are lining up to run SR5's next year and we have an on-going development programme to ensure the SR5 stays ahead of the game."

Drivers Ross and Sam were extremely pleased with the car. Ross explained "The SR5 handles beautifully and can be easily set up for each circuit. I have driven the car at the last three rounds and it just keeps getting better."
