Van der Steur Racing will field a Radical SR9 in the final two rounds of the 2006 American Le Mans Series

The Team Bruichladdich Radical SR9 had its most comprehensive test to date last week at Snetterton in preparation for the LMS race in Jarama, Spain next Sunday (24th Sep).

This will be the third outing for the car and team and after a trouble-free full day of running the team is happy with the test outcome and optimistic of translating the data into time on the Spanish track. The pace of the car has never been in doubt and has more than proved itself at its Nürburgring and Donington races.

The missing part of the story before the end of the season is a podium place. Tim Greaves and Stuart Moseley will be paired once more in their quest for a trophy and both are optimistic.

Tim Greaves, Team Owner and Driver:
Jarama is one of the circuits that is said to suit the more agile LMP2 cars very well to the extent that we could be competitive with LMP1 runners. Joao Barbosa certainly knows his way round so with him in the Rollcentre Radical you never know we could be looking two Radicals on the front row! I’m certainly expecting a tight race.”

Stuart Moseley, Driver:
Last week was certainly the most beneficial test we’ve had. We ran all day and were able to try plenty of set-up changes. We looked at a few things specifically for Jarama including traction to get the best out of those hairpins. Our main objective is to get to the end of the race with a podium and with a couple of races of experience behind us there’s no reason why we shouldn’t make it.”
