Radical Owners Club at Goodwood
29th June 2009
On Saturday the 27th of June, the Radical Owners Club took part in its first Sprint meeting with several members in attendance. All runners on the day put in a fantastic performance on track. There is no doubt that one driver shone brightly all day and took home the spoils as the quickest Radical Owners Club competitor. David Watson in his SR4 1500 put in some incredible laps outpacing a number of single-seater cars and achieved the 3rd quickest overall time of the day. On behalf of Radical Owners Club, a big thanks to all those who competed at Goodwood and once again, congratulations to David Watson!
Radical Crashes Out at Le Mans
16th June 2009
Aston Martin driver, Stuart Hall was kicked out of the 24 Hueres Du Mans, following an incident where the Lola Aston Martin he was driving took out the Radical SR9 driven by Tim Greaves. Five hours into the race, with the Radical running strong, Hall drove up the inside of Tim, moved over on him and spun the SR9 into the barrier adjacent to the pit lane entrance. The Radical suffered two hard hits to the rear nearside wheel, causing extensive damage. View the incident on Youtube here Tim drove the damaged SR9 back to the pits, but the team finally retired the SR9 in the early morning.

Hugo Pereira wins in Portugal
10th June 2009
The international racing circuit in the Algarve started the season with a program full of exciting races with the Portuguese Sportscars Series-supporting Formula 3000 and the European GT championship. Qualifying After learning the track in free practice, Hugo Pereira was able to stick his Radical SR3 on the first row of the grid in 2nd place, only loosing out to the more powerful “Lister Storm” driven by the Englishmen Bobby Verdon-Row, ahead of the Porsche GT3 and the next Radical SR3 in 4th position. Race one Hugo started the race in 2nd position but soon lost the position to the Porsche GT3 during the rolling start. Hugo was all over the Porsche and after some pressure, the Porsche driver could not avoid a mistake which allowed Hugo to take 2nd position back. A good strategy in the pits to change drivers after some quick laps, allowed the Radical to join the race...
Derek Johnston leads race to Daytona
22nd May 2009
Derek Johnston (Radical UK Cup) takes a firm grip on the lead of the Rolex 24 At Daytona Driver Challenge presented by Sunoco after a dramatic weekend at Spa-Francorchamps. Both the Avon Tyres British GT Championship and the combined Radical European Masters and Radical UK Cup raced at Spa-Francorchamps over the weekend of 8th-10th May. Derek Johnston in the Radical UK Cup came out on top with two class wins (second overall), one of which was a typically dramatic Spa "heavens open" affair. Unfortunately for him, of the forty cars on the grid only 9 cars were registered for the Rolex 24 At Daytona Challenge, which meant that even though Derek, racing with the experienced Stuart Moseley, he could only count 90% of his maximum scores for winning. The British GT Championship was exceptionally dramatic with the previous Driver Challenge leader, Stuart Hall, suffering a drive-through p...
Radical Expand into Eastern Europe
13th May 2009
One of the first SR3 RS’s was handed over to Radical’s latest distributor Milan Sikora of Radical Czech and Slovak Republics, by Mick Hyde at Spa Francorchamps this weekend, during the Radical European Masters event. In June, Milan and his team are moving into a purpose-designed complex with showroom, workshop, clubhouse and office facilities in Prague. A hectic race schedule has been planned by the Czech squad with the first race being a 6-hour Enduro on May 30th. The first batch of SR3 RS’s ordered by Milan are fully road legal, which allows the team to enter both ‘road legal’ and ‘full race’ events in Eastern Europe. A Radical ‘one-brand’ series is planned in Eastern Europe to run alongside the current Radical Race Series in the UK and Sweden. Further European Radical Series are also planned in Holland and Spain, all feed...

8th May 2009
Over forty beautifully-prepared Radicals, including 21 SR8's are testing and qualifying today at Spa, in preparation for round two of the Radical European Masters series. The media are preaching continual doom and gloom, well Radical are in rude health with good grids in all their UK and European championships. Talking of good health, good news today from Mexico, "after our quarantine, we are all back at work and having a great time at trackday at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City." So Barclays have made record profits, and the 'flu epidemic is over in Mexico, so can we talk about something positive now, please?
