Reviewers are finding the 2014 Audi R8 to be a supercar that does not merely shine on the racetrack, as would be expected, but also in all sorts of adverse conditions. Reviewers in Europe have ran the supercar on mountain roads and found that it performed amazingly in the pounding rain along snow-lined curves.
Being an Audi and coming with either a V-8 or V-10 engine, producing 430 horsepower and 525 respectively, a driver will not be shocked to find that it, the more powerful of the two, has a zero-to-60 time of 3.5 seconds.
To transfer the power of all these horses to the wheel,s the 2014 Audi R8 has a brand new seven-speed S-Tronic dual-clutch transmission that gives brutally-fast and jarring shifts. Despite the g-force inducing shifting, the clutch play, courtesy of its dual clutch, is smoother, tight and controlled.
Inside, the supercar is purely luxurious being made up of diamond-stitched leather. Moreover, all is so well done that it its interior is both classy and humble.
